Around the year 1900s, when European immigrants came to our country and after they received lands granted by the Argentinian government in 1956, estancia Tepi, first started thanks to the help that JOAQUIN GOYTISILO received from José Menendez. It was a dream come true for the first rural phisician in Tierra del Fuego.

In those years this French-Basque (Biscayan ProvinceProvincia Vizkaya) was exclusively dedicated to wool production. As years passed by, the need to diversify the production demanded by the country’s economy, Estancia Tepi turned to cattle raising and tourism above all.
